Halfway to Brissy

Our next destination was Coff's Harbour, a small town halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. On the way we stopped at the famous Pub With No Beer. The pub is over a 100 years old and the legend tells us that once upon a time the pub ran out of beer and that's how the pub got its name. However, these days there is plenty of beer, which suited us!

Again, we found a beautiful quiet white sandy beach to stay for the night. After some swimming and sunbaking we started cooking dinner. Some Italian surfers kept us company and we happily shared a cask (or two) of goon with them. :)

Sabrina and me were screaming 'I have the best life ever!' and it wasn't just goon talk. :) The further away from Melbourne we got, the further behind I was leaving all the bad stuff and the clearlier I was starting to see that getting away from that restraining, unhappy relationship was the best thing that could have happened for me. Having the highway in front of us and not knowing what would happen after Cairns, the sense of freedom, I couldn't have felt happier! :)
